The Woolbin will close at noon on December 24th and reopen on Monday, January 4th at 10am. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

SUMMER HOURS IN EFFECT

Effective this Monday, June 30th, The Wool Bin will be closed on Mondays through to Labour Day. The rest of the hours are unchanged : Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5:30pm.

NEW CLASS - Top Down

Want to learn a new way of quickly constructing a sweater? Have you tried "top down" knitting? Come to our new "Top Down" class and learn this technique to construct a garment with NO SEAMING!!! The class project will be a children's sweater, but the technique can be applied to adults too.
The class begins Tuesday, June 2nd from 7-9pm, and runs for a total of 4 weeks. Cost is $75. Call the store to register - 905-845-9512. Space is limited.

Second Drop In Day Added - Wednesdays

By popular demand, we have added a second "drop in" session - Wednesdays from 1-3pm. This is in addition to our drop in time on Mondays from 1-3pm. At this time, you can just sit and knit and chat. If you need, we can provide assistance with your current project on a first come first serve basis. More significant problems can still be tackled in a private class. Ask in store for more information.

Hurray for Fall! Warm days, cool crisp nights, apples, leaves, change is in the air… A wool shop sounds like a perfect way to while-away some time looking for just the right yarn to create something cozy, warm and one of a kind.

We have received some fabulous new yarns from Fleece Artists, including their new "Sea Wool" a blend of Merino and Seacell (a seaweed derived yarn). There are a variety of kits from some adorable baby items to stylish adult accesories.
